First Aid Training
If you work in the outdoor the National Governing Body (NGB) for your qualifications will require that you hold a valid First Aid Certificate, that's why we now offer just the ticket.
Emergency Outdoor First Aid Training
The first aid training we offer is run by Solution Aid who are certified by Immediate Temporary Care (ITC) - HSE Organisation 1670/96 - which is Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved.
The qualification covers the requirements of the following NGB qualifications:
- Scottish Mountain Bike Leaders Association (SMBLA)
- Mountain Leader Training UK
- Mountain Leader Award (ML)
- Single Pitch Award (SPA)
- Walking Group Leader Award (WGL)
- Mountaineering Instructor Award (MIA)
- Mountaineering Instructor Certificate (MC)
- British Caving Association
- British & Welsh Canoe Union (BCU & WCU)
- The Royal Yachting Association (RYA)
- British Orienteering Federation (BOF)

Course Details
- Day one covers basic lifesaving and is designed to provide practical hands-on training to develop techniques and a systematic approach to First Aid
- Day two covers practical interactive scenarios geared towards a rural environment and helps develop incident management skills.
